I have just added Oregon Duck links and a Oregon Football News tracker in the bottom half of the column to the right.
Both Oregon and LSU have their sites on a National Championship and when these two meet sparks are going to fly. LSU should be the hardest challenge the Ducks face until they meet Stanford and USC in back-to-back games in the middle of November. The Ducks may prove to be LSU's hardest challenge also but there will be very few weeks that LSU does not face serious opponents. While The Sporting News article is good news for Tigers fans and Duck fans alike, it is a bit early to start seriously breaking down the big game. However, it is not too early to start looking through the coverage of each team. Here are some interesting links to what's going on with the Tigers and Ducks:
Tiger Links:
LSU football lands two more 2012 commitments (Jim Kleinpeter, The Times-Picayune)
Jefferson tosses four TD's in final scrimmage (Michael Lambert, The Daily Reveille)
Five Reasons The Tigers Makes the Championship (Bleacher Report)
Russell Shepard: position found (David Helman, The Times-Picayune)
Duck Links:
Football Coaches Tinker with Defense (Ken Goe, The Oregonian)
Defensive Line Depth Focus of Backup Plan for Ducks (Rob Moseley, The Register-Guard)
Oregon Looks to Stay Strong (The Statesman Journal)
I am just starting to gather info on the LSU - Oregon Game. There will be much more to come as the big game draws nearer.

I like the each side point of view story line..That you are Giving your readers..About the Oregon vs LSU match up..That will begin LSU 2011 college football season.
The more information about the two team the better.
Sporting News,ESPN College Football, are picking LSU #-1 to begin this 2011 football season..So of course the first football game against the Pac-10 leading power-Oregon,is a very important college football game.
